Activity Cluster :
CTRD has facilitated the formation of Activity Clusters with the women community, producing Vermi Compost. The Activity Clusters are supported by DRDC fund in infrastructure building like construction of storage room, purchase of different machines,. These Activity Clusters are now looking for business capital to scale up their Vermi Compost related marketing activities. The Activity Clusters are also trying to rope in different fund to create their own business capital.

LIvelihood Finance:
Supplying small sized credit to the women families is a challenge when the credit is to be channelled in producing livelihood products. Livelihood finance is beyond the ambit of microfinance institutions which have normally concentrated their activities within the well-off sections of the poor community. The women who are excluded by the MFI services needs customized credit support for producing different livelihood products, both farm & non farm. CTRD wants to collaborate with different source of finance & MFIs to link credit with the producers who are constrained to access credit. |

Private Sector:
CTRD believes that a livelihood sector is interlinked with the active participation of private sector. The private sector players will help in giving the marketing intelligence which will determine the strategy & course of technology transfer. A private sector with distinct bias in dealing with livelihood products produced by SHG women can fulfill the gaps in market value chain. CTRD is actively collaborating with small private sector players & different business individuals to promote & sale Vermi Compost in different locations which are not otherwise covered by normal market chain. |
