Consortium for Training, Research and Development (CTRD) is a non-profit organization working in the backward areas with disadvantaged community. It was established in 1993.

CTRD is a Technology Driven Livelihood Networking Institution; it is registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act 1961. It presently works with more than 6000 poorest women community in the backward villages of West Bengal.

Impact assessment of Swarna Jayanti Gram Swrojgar Yojana (SGSY) in Tripura - Identified the shortcomings in implementation of SGSY in the hilly state with 3 million rural population and abundant natural resources. The Study was engineered by Government of Tripura & Society for Professional Action in Development (SPADE).

An impact assessment of the activities of Women Cooperative Credit Society (CCS) as sustainable micro finance institution - Fund: CARE, India.

Evaluation of Women empowerment through Credit and Savings for household enterprise (CASHE) intervention - Fund: CARE, India.

Governing Body Meeting : :

The last Governing Body meeting of CTRD was held on 2nd July, 2011.

Activity on Dry Flower/Vermi Compost : :

CTRD has started its Vermicompost Networking Project in the district of South Dinajpur from 1st August, 2011.

News Bulletin : :

CTRD is going to publish News Bulletin to document the livelihood activities of SHG women under SJSY program from 1st December, 2011. The News Bulletin will be published bi-monthly.
